Immortality - The Overture
Immortality - A 21st Century Rock Opera

Our Journey Begins...

Overture

The orchestra is tuning...the cast is taking their positions...in the lowlight, you steal a moment to read the programme...

Immortality, to the uninitiated, are a dance/rock blend of high energy music. We take our roots from the theatre, though our music reflects influences from current synth-pop culture, gothic rock and the baroque romantic era. Our love of the silver screen will be obvious to fellow movie enthusiasts.

Due to our long history with the stage, most our our influences come from theatrical and gothic sources.  We both love horror movies, hence many of our tunes reflect the interest.  Its very difficult these days to write completely unique music, so instead we mix a collective of classical, 80's rock and modern dance feels.  If you have not heard our music, I would recommend you download 'Save Me (From Myself)' and 'Little Miss Dizzy' from the Entr'acte page to get the feel for our style.  Save Me is more akin to modern dance styles, with classical influence added, where as Dizzy is the opposite - very classical with modern 'toppings' for flavor.

We've had a lot of fun compiling the music, and are writing new tunes all the time.  We often receive letters from visitors with comments and recommendations - your comments are like a third pair of ears for us, and very much appreciated.

We certainly hope you enjoy our site, and more importantly our music. We are also pretty keen to talk to you guys, so please check out the form at the bottom of this page and let us know your thoughts.

Oh, man...who brought the camera out?!?! Here's some, errr, "rock-star" poses for ya. Lisa and I doing what we do best...sitting around the studio looking all cool and musician like.

...and the mysterious studio cat...Obie
